( And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, “This is what we were provided with before.” And they will be given things resembling it. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally ) (25)

And if the previous threat was for the disbelievers, then give good tidings, O Prophet, to the believers in God who do righteous deeds, of gardens beneath whose palaces and trees rivers flow. Whenever they are fed of its good fruits as sustenance, they will say, due to the strong resemblance to the fruits of this world: “This is like the fruits which we were provided with before.” Fruits similar in shape and name will be presented to them so that they will be drawn to them by virtue of their familiarity with them, but they will be different in taste and flavor. And for them in Paradise are spouses free from all that the soul is repelled by and naturally finds repulsive, unlike the people of this world. And they are in perpetual bliss that does not cease, unlike the fleeting bliss of this world.

( Indeed, Allah is not ashamed to present an example—that of a mosquito or what is smaller than it. And as for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, What did Allah intend by this example? He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient ) (26)

God Almighty is not ashamed to give examples as He wills. He gives the example of the mosquito, and what is greater than it in size or less than it in smallness. People are of two kinds in the face of this: believers and disbelievers. As for the believers, they believe and know that there is wisdom behind giving the example of it. As for the disbelievers, they question in a mocking manner the reason for God giving examples of these lowly creatures, such as mosquitoes, flies, spiders, and others. So the answer comes from God: In these examples are guidance, directions, and a test for people. Some of them are led astray by God through these examples because they turn away from pondering them, and they are many. And some of them are guided because of their taking heed from them, and they are many. And He does not lead astray except those who deserve to be led astray, and they are those who go out of obedience to Him, such as the hypocrites.

( Those who break the covenant of Allah after its confirmation and sever what Allah has ordered to be joined and spread corruption on earth – it is they who are the losers ) (27)

Those who break the covenant of Allah which He took from them to worship Him alone and follow His Messenger whom the Messengers before him informed about, and sever what Allah has ordered to be joined, such as kinship ties, and strive to spread corruption on earth through sins – these are the ones whose share is deficient in this world and the Hereafter.

( How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He gave you life; then He will cause you to die, then He will give you life again; then to Him you will be returned? ) (28)

Indeed, your affair – O disbelievers – is astonishing! How can you disbelieve in Allah, when you witness the signs of His power within yourselves? You were nothing, then He created you and gave you life, then He will cause you to die a second death, then He will give you life a second life, then He will return you to Him to hold you accountable for what you have done.

( He is the One Who created for you all that is on the earth. Then He turned to the heaven and fashioned them into seven heavens, and He is All-Knowing of everything ) (29)

And God alone created for you all that is on the earth, including rivers, trees, and countless other things, from which you benefit and enjoy what He has made subservient to you. Then He turned to the creation of the heavens and fashioned them into seven level heavens, and He is the One Whose knowledge encompasses all things.

Part of the perfection of bliss in Paradise is that its pleasures are undisturbed by any kind of annoyance, nor are they mixed with any harm.

The parables that God Almighty sets forth are only beneficial to the believers, for they are the ones who sincerely desire guidance and seek it rightfully.

Among the most prominent characteristics of the wicked is their breaking of covenants with God and with creation, their severing of what God has commanded to be joined, and their striving to spread corruption on earth.

The default state of things is permissibility and purity, for God Almighty has bestowed upon His servants the favor of creating for them everything on earth.
